I just read every single fic on this list in pretty much one sitting - I called into work sick this morning so I could keep reading *facepalm* But it was completely worth it! This broken verse is like nothing else I have ever come across in my internet travels, and I have no words to explain to you just how amazing the story is, the writing, the dialogue...and the angst. Jesus, angst isn't anywhere near a strong enough word to describe the places you went with this verse. It was horrific and agonising, and so terribly realistic; you are seriously talented, but I don't envy the places you must have had to go inside yourself to write these fics. I'm just glad you had the strength, because this verse is made of WOW and it would be a crime for them not to have been written.
I look forward to the broken bits to come, and I wish I had a better way of saying how much this verse affected me. YOU ARE WINNING PERSONIFIED :) *smooshes you so hard you almost die, but not quite coz we need you to write more broken boys*

I finally got around to reading the bound copy you gave me at Wincon and I am still gloriously in love with this 'verse. There are so many bits winding around each other with full emotional technicolor that makes the story into a living, writhing entity that both pulls me in and pushes me away. *draws sparkly pink hearts around Broken*

Should I read the prequels first? Or read broken and then read the prequels?

That is really up to you. It was written with Broken first, and the prequels might give stuff away that slightly spoil Broken...so for me, that's the order I'd read. Broken, then the prequels.

But others have read the prequels first.
